Smashing Yodhas Premier Badminton Tournament Culminates Into An Unforgettable Event

The Smashing Yodhas Premier Badminton Tournament sponsored by IDS Logic recently concluded on 2^nd October 2022 in Batley Sports & Tennis Centre, Leeds amid a lot of cheer, participation, and fun. As one of the UK’s most loved badminton tournaments, the event saw some of the best local shuttlers compete under several categories. This year was the 6^th edition of the tournament.

The first thing that seemed evident to an observer at the event was the high level of talent and sportsmanship that was on display. Participants showcased unusually high standards of physical fitness and gameplay on the court. With over 90 participants competing for the championship trophies, it was a day of true endurance, grit, and performance.

Smashing Yodhas Club conducts this memorable badminton tournament every year to encourage fitness, teamwork, an active lifestyle and, most importantly, the spirit of sportsmanship within the UK community. As a completely non-profit event, the tournament has gathered increasing interest and participation over all these years. The tournament has helped many badminton lovers to come together as a community and celebrate the wonderful sports of badminton.

Intermediate Category – Agasthya Somarathi and Krish Milan from Derby.

Advanced Category – Vishal and Amjad from Bradford.

Ladies Category – Cici and Lilly from Morley.

We congratulate all the winners and applaud the badminton skills they brought to the court. Each game was a delight to watch and excited not just the participants but also the spectators.
